The difference between float glass and patterned glass is the forming section. The float process is that the glass liquid flows on to the molten tin bath, the glass liquid expands on the tin liquid to form a glass ribbon. The patterned process is the glass liquid flows through a set of rollers, pressing the glass to from a glass ribbon of a specified thickness.

Tin bath is customized design according to the furnace size, based on the various thicknesses & sizes of the glass as per market requirements. With the professional control of hydrogen diffusivity and strict control of the bottom bricks size accuracy and structure, to help client reduce utility costs, defects, and increase throughput. 

The rolling forming machine design and configuration are confirmed according to the furnace scale, glass size and thickness. The machine forms a special pattern on one side of the surface of the extra-clear PV glass through the forming roller. The pattern on glass will enhance the light transmittance of different incidence angles, which can maximize the absorption of solar energy and improve the photoelectric conversion efficiency.
